The island of Evia, and those which form the Sporades islands, are located on the eastern side of Central Greece. Evia is a very beautiful island, and a large on, that stretches from the north coast of Attica to the south coast of Thessaly. One can even drive over to Evia via a bridge.

The Sporades Islands are some of the most green in all of Greece, and are extremely beautiful, especially during spring and summer. The three main islands of the “Sporades” are Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonnisos. These islands are very different to other Greek Islands, and make perfect destinations for those seeking very peaceful and tranquil holidays, away from the more busy and noisier islands that can be found around Greece.

Just across the water from Skiathos is the stunning Pelion Peninsula, which is one of the most naturally beautiful regions in all of Greece, and is definitely worth visiting if you can find the chance.
